According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Ramon was last seen at 70 km southwest of Romblon with maximum packed winds of 55 kph near the center, moving in a northwestward direction at 15 kph.

Weather state bureau PAGASA, the low pressure area spotted some 680 km East of Mindanao (8.4°N, 133.2°E) embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Luzon and Visayas has now developed into a tropical depression.
