Congressman Antonio M. Diaz passes away





Antonio Diaz (83) who has served the province as Representative of Zambales from 1992 – 2001, 2004, 2007, and 2010 passed away on Wednesday morning, August 3, 2011.

Diaz who headed the House interparliamentary relations and diplomacy committee, has been under dialysis treatment for diabetes and died at around 6:20am at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City due to multiply organ failure said congressional staff Ariel Maliksi.

The House of Representatives at the Batasan Pambansa in Quezon City will hold necrological services for Diaz on Thursday morning. He will then be taken to Christ the King Church also in Quezon City for his wake until Friday.
