Box office hit “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank” is the country’s chosen entry to the Best Foreign Language Film category of the Oscars 2012.

The Indie movie directed by Marlon Rivera starring Ms. Eugene Domingo, JM De Guzman and other premiere actors and actresses of the industry got 5 major awards at the recently held 7th Cinemalaya Awards.

Other movies considered for selection for the 84th Academy Awards were “Ikaw Ang Pag-Ibig,” “Thelma,” “Zombadings 1: Patayin sa Shokot si Remington,” “Rosario,” “Senior Year,” “Presa,” and “Dalaw.”
